It was the night of the Midsummer Eve Feast when the trolls of the village get together to celebrate. And it just so happened that King Smee was there, because he was to marry Bleeta, the lovely daughter of Lord and Lady Drong.

The King was very happy; the villagers were happy; the army, under the command of General Screed, was happy; the General himself was happy and so too was his Lady Wife ... but not their son, Droople.

And nor was Bleeta. Droople and Bleeta were in love. But ... kings will have their own way, and King Smee was no exception, and he was to marry Bleeta.

However ...

Act One

The village green - time for a wedding.

Act Two

Scene One: Deep in the forest - it's a bit scary.
Scene Two: The village green - what a hullabaloo.
