ALL OUR OWN WORK (2001)
Team
Location: Haxby and Wigginton Methodist Church
Performance: 7.30 p.m. Friday 24 August 2001
The cast was made up of members of Flying Ducks Youth Theatre who wished to take part in a week long project.
The spent the whole week working together to devise the two pieces of drama. The only decision made for the cast was that there would be no need for specific costumes
and that they would not perform on a traditional stage.
After the interval the audience heard from another member of the group. Sian had built up a repertoire of songs of which she chose a few to sing which she introduced to the audience herself.
Programme
The Segregation
What would happen if society seperated the sexes? What do boys really think of girls and vice versa? A version of the future, but age old problems still exist.
Death of the Duchess
A murder mystery set in a country manor hotel. Who killed the drunken Duchess and why? You decide!
Interval

Songs from the shows, including Miss Saigon, Chess, Grease, and Evita.
