LONDON BUS COFFEE MORNING & CAR WASH
Well done to everyone who contributed to the success of the Coffee morning. We raised well over £300 and had a fun trip around Haxby on the London Bus! We not only raised important funds for the society, but also kicked off our publicity campaign in style!!
Flying Ducks Youth Theatre is based in Haxby, York.
The group performed its first production "Is That My Line?" with a cast of 24 on 1 May 1996 at Haxby and Wigginton Methodist Church and since then continued to build a reputation for lively and entertaining musical theatre.
The group's last major production was 'Half A Sixpence' at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre in March 2010.
Flying Ducks Youth Theatre currently has a membership of 60 young people within the group. The aim of the group is to advance the education of young people between the ages of 11 and 18 in the appreciation and practice of drama and the performing arts. They are also proud to be able to support local charities every year.
The group has three patrons who are leading actors Berwick Kaler and Martin Barrass, and double Oscar-nominated actress Janet McTeer.
